"Exxodus-bac plate" is an extremely porous filtration plate that encourages bio-filtration and bacterial colonization in aquariums and aquatic systems.
- Highest porosity and largest useable surface area, per unit weight or volume, of all filtration media available.
- Provides large amounts of anaerobic surface area for bacterial colonization. Provides over 71,000 square feet (6,596 square meters) of surface area per liter of medium.
- Reduces toxic ammonia & nitrates.
- Doped with Aragonite to buffer pH at bacteria level, preventing acid buildup which eventually would kill the bacteria and reduce capacity.

| Directions | Use In Aquarium Keeping: For maximum results, should be used simultaneously with Reef BioPellet Fuel, Reef Micro Fuel, or Flora Viv Prolifera carbon sources as a growth accelerator and/or with BacterClean M or F, BacterGen M or F, or BacterGen MD microbial cultures, as appropriate, to jump start and maintain the colonization process at elevated levels. Directions and Protocol: One Exxodus BAC plate will provide nitriication for about 1,250 U.S. gallons, ( 4,750 L ) of aquarium volume. Rinse plate gently in purified tap water or aquarium water. Pre-seed the product by placing it in a plastic container, submerged in aquarium water, and adding the recommended dose for your aquarium size of the aforementioned bacterial products (BacterClean or BacterGen). Allow the product to remain in this soak for 12 to 24 hours, stirring gently occasionally or agitating the liquid by pouring out and back into the container, gently. Place the seeded Exxodus BAC plate into system. The use of a pre-filtration filter floss, sponge or other mechanical pre-filtration is recommended to prevent fouling in flow through applications. Caution: Do not fluidize or allow to abrade against moving parts. Material can wear down due to mechanical action, and produce dust and fines. Keep out of reach of children. Not for human consumption. If ingested drink water, consult with a physician. |
